Outreach educational program during Youth MMA World Championships

On July 29 2021, the Bulgarian Antidoping Centre, in cooperation with Bulgarian MMA federation and the International MMA Federation, has conducted an anti-doping education during the Youth MMA World Championships in Sofia. The Program was held by a wheel of fortune game and the on-line educational WADA Quiz. WADA’s informational materials were provided for the athletes to advise them on the following topics: Harm to the spirit of sport, Doping Control Procedure, Rights and responsibilities of the athletes and the athlete support personnel, Therapeutic Use Exemptions /TUE/; Nutrition Supplements. Over 150 athletes and athlete’s support personals took part in the outreach educational program.
