Outreach educational program during National Weightlifting Team Championships in Plovdiv

On November 24 2024, the Bulgarian Antidoping Centre, upon invitation by Bulgarian Weightlifting Federation, has conducted an anti-doping education during the National Weightlifting Team Championships in Plovdiv. The Program was held by a wheel of fortune game and the on-line educational WADA Quiz. WADA’s informational materials were provided for the athletes to advise them on the following topics: Harm to the spirit of sport, Doping Control Procedure, Rights and responsibilities of the athletes and the athlete support personnel, Therapeutic Use Exemptions /TUE/. Over 60 athletes and athlete’s support personals took part in the outreach educational program.
