What is sample collection?
Sample collection is the part of the doping control process where an athlete’s urine and/or blood sample is collected by qualified doping control personnel. All sample collections carried out by the Anti-Doping Centre are conducted in accordance with the International Standard for Testing and Investigations of the World Anti-Doping Agency and the Regulations on Anti-Doping Activities. The collected samples are transferred for analysis at a WADA-accredited laboratory.
