Anti-doping seminar with physical education teachers from the secondary schools in Sofia
According to the Action Plan for implementation of the National Strategy for the fight against Doping in Sport (2015-2024) for the period 2018-2019 and Aim 2 of the Plan - "Higher public awareness of the harms of doping" “, on 12.06.-13.06.2019 an anti-doping seminar was organized and held at the Anti-Doping Center. The seminar was designed for physical education teachers from the secondary schools in Sofia. According to a pre-arranged program, experts of the Anti-Doping Center presented on the following topics: "Ethical and moral principles in sports", "What is doping and its consequences to health" and "Control and prevention of the use of prohibited substances in sports". The topics of the seminar aroused increased interest and many questions from those present, who gave suggestions for new meetings on this topic. Leading institutions in the seminar were the Anti-Doping Center and the Regional Department of Education - Sofia.
