Training of anti-doping educators and public lecture in Plovdiv

On October 30, 2024, the Anti-Doping Center conducted training for the teachers from the "Vasil Levski" Sports School - Plovdiv, who are responsible for the anti-doping education of the students.

The 10 teachers who took part received certificates for successfully completed training course by the Executive Director of the Anti-Doping Center Violeta Zarkova, MD.

The representatives of the Anti-doping Center also had the opportunity to observe the anti-doping session for V and VII grade students.

The visit of the Anti-Doping Center in Plovdiv was by the invitation of the Director of the Sports school “Vasil Levski” Mrs. Ruzhka Genova and Mrs. Michaela Staykova - Deputy Director of Sports Activities.

In the afternoon of October 30, a public lecture was given at University of Plovdiv “Paisiy Hilendarski”. Students from the Pedagogical Faculty of the higher school were acquainted with the topic "Doping and the harms of its use".
